How anyone could survive that is unbelievable.

Why does this remind me of a crash in a nfs movie?
Thank God for the invention of roll cages. Imagine if we didn't use them.

He was so lucky to be alive. If I was watching the race in the grandstands I would immediately think he died
The wow factor is the fact he survived the g-forces DAMN!

That's what happens when you race at a drag strip with steel guardrails.

Jeeeeesus.
Didn't look like he lifted and if he did it was too late to make a difference. He was just along for the ride from the 8th mile onwards.
big chief
I forgot to add he was a top fueler.
I don't usually watch the fatal ones but have been looking for one that was in the late 60's or early 70's at Union Grove, Wi where a guy was killed. It was in the Tribune the next day that (of course) he was killed. I saw the blower go and he was thrown up into the air. He was the driver for the Snow Bros. and I can't find anything about it all. They were from Oklahoma. That is all I remember but I can't get them out of my mind. If anyone has anything or knows of where I might look please let me know. I really would appreciate it so much. It was on the front page of the Tribune or Sun-Times newspaper. Thanks to anyone who can help.
Oh my God that was a horrible crash glad dude is OK and still racing
